IMPORTANT PATIENT AND PASSENGER REMINDERS
   
   1.   Must provide physician's statement confirming
            - Treatment is necessary
            - Patient is medically stable and able to fly in non-pressurized conditions
   
   2.   Must sign a Wings of Mercy waiver prior to boarding the aircraft
   
   3.   May be a blood or organ donor
   
   4.   May not be on any medication that may cause adverse effects at altitude
   
   5.   Must be accompanied by an additional passenger
            - i.e., family member, friend or other caregiver
   
   6.   Must arrange ground transportation for themselves and their passenger(s)
   
   7.   Must give ample advance notice of flight requirements
            - including exact date and time of appointment
   
   8.   Must not
            - smoke in or near aircraft
            - drink coffee or soda pop within 4 hours of the flight
            - Take any diuretics within 4 hours of flight
   
   9.   Must arrive at airport at least one half hour prior to scheduled departure
   
   10. The amount of luggage/baggage permitted on the plane is limited
   
   11.  Extra cargo must be approved before flight
            - wheelchairs
            - strollers
            - O2 tanks
            - etc.
 
Wings of Mercy can not be held responsible for flight cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
